Where is the DACC located?
We operate across most of Australia and in the Netherlands. We are headquartered in Abel Tasman Village, 222 Waldron Road, Chester Hill NSW.
Can I visit the DACC?
Currently, visits to the Library and Archive are by special appointment only and must be arranged in advance. To make an appointment, please contact us at dutchaustraliancc@gmail.com.

How can I stay up to date with the DACC’s activities?
You can subscribe to our free-e newsletter (see the ‘subscribe box’ on our homepage) and follow us on Facebook for news and events. You can also become a Friend of the DACC (see next question).
How can I support the DACC?
There’s an easy way to support us in preserving Dutch Australian culture and heritage: for $20 per annum you can become a Friend of the DACC. Simply fill out the form and send it to us:
Can I visit the Library or Archive?

Please note: the Library is a reference library – it is not possible to loan books. Books must be consulted in-person.
Financial donations
We depend on donations, so any financial contribution is welcome. You can also consider mentioning us in your will. For donations, please refer to the DACC Friends form 2023-2024.
Can I donate to the DACC’s Library or Archive?
Yes! Donations are very much welcomed. Items with a Dutch-Australian connection are particularly welcome. If you would like to donate to our Library or Archive, the following guidelines may be of help:
To donate to the Library:
Please email dutchaustraliancc@gmail.com with the following details:
- Number of books
- Book details: title, author, year published, publisher, subject
- Condition of book
- Photos of the books are appreciated but not required.
Examples of past donations to the Library: autobiographies, biographies, memoirs, travel diaries, emigration scrapbooks, government reports, children’s literature, novels.
To donate to the Archive:
Please email dutchaustraliancc@gmail.com with the following details:
- Description of item(s)
- Photos of the item(s)
- Condition of item (is it fragile? Heavy? Does it have particular storage or care requirements?)
- If donating artwork or similar, please include details of the artist/creator, year created, title (if applicable), material used, place created.
Examples of past donations to the Archive: documents relating to Dutch Australian organisations (e.g. newsletters), photographs, memorabilia, artwork, artefacts, maps, ephemera.
Please note: The DACC is a charity organisation. Donors are responsible for postage or transport of items.
