George Broekhuysen established a successful Dutch Shop on Pittwater Road, Dee Why, Sydney. It was a real ‘Winkel van Sinkel’ (shop of everything). He also delivered shopping on his motorbike to the many Dutch families in the area, an area also known as Little Holland. With important organisations such as the Nederlandia Social Club and the Neerlandia Football Club.
