Stephanie Brantz is a television presenter and sports personality from Australia. Born in 1972 in Queensland to Dutch parents to Phillipa and Hans Branz, she began her modeling career in 1985 while attending St Peters Lutheran College in Indooroopilly. Her modeling career continued during her time at Charles Sturt University. Stephanie Brantz has two sons and a daughter.

Her television presenting career started in 2000 when she joined SBS (Special Broadcasting Service) as a presenter for “On the Ball.” She later filled in as host of “Toyota World Sports” and became the co-host of the show in 2006 alongside Les Murray. Brantz also served as the face of SBS during their coverage of the 2006 FIFA World Cup.

After the World Cup, Brantz was recruited by Nine CEO Eddie McGuire in July 2006 to host several sporting programs, including “Nine News,” “The Cricket Show,” “Sunday,” and “The Footy Show.” During the 2006–2007 summer season, she presented a weekly highlights show of the National Basketball League on the Nine Network and provided analysis and roving reports for the network’s 2006–07 Ashes cricket coverage. Later, on 19 February 2007, she was appointed the sports presenter on “Nightline.”

In 2010, Stephanie Brantz appeared on Fox Sports News as a sports news reader. From late 2010, she joined ABC TV as a sports presenter and host, covering various sports events like the W-League, WNBL, Shute Shield, and international Hockey, Football, Golf, and Basketball coverage. She has hosted significant events such as the Anzac Day Dawn Service from Gallipoli, the Australian of the Year Awards, and the Flag Raising and Citizenship Ceremony on Australia Day.

In 2012, Stephanie Brantz led the ABC’s coverage of the London Paralympic Games and later fronted the coverage of the 2013 New Year’s Eve and the 2015 Asian Cup. In 2016, she became a freelancer and took on lead commentary duties for the Westfield W-League with Fox Sports. She also joined ESPN as a regular contributor on their digital platform and presented the US Open Primetime show from Flushing Meadows in 2017.

Apart from her on-air television roles, Brantz is involved in various other activities. She serves as a presenter of pre- and post-match functions at the Sydney Cricket Ground and Sydney Football Stadium, where she interacts with commentators from the respective sports. Stephanie Brantz is also a corporate MC, facilitating conferences and awards nights.

Beyond her career, Stephanie Brantz is associated with several foundations and associations, including the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation, the Chappell Foundation, and the Interactive Games & Entertainment Association, where she serves as an Ambassador and family mentor.
